Summer moved on
“Stay – don’t just walk away and leave me another day…”
Often when I’m sitting here and think about what to write or how to begin to tell the story, I have a sudden inspiration, a song line or a melody in mind. 30 years of being a DJ have an impact in that regard, I can’t deny this.
I’ve never looked up the lyrics for a-ha’s song from the early 2000’s, but I just did and oh my god, how these lyrics fit to the current time and to the thoughts and happenings in the last months.
Most of you are aware of the situation that something is going horribly wrong at my sites. I’ve never had such a long time without releasing stuff or at least responding to people or such. At some point the plate simply tips over and everything falls down on the floor. But instead of cleaning up, I just couldn’t and walked away instead. This is no solution, I know. But those thoughts do not help at all.
I won’t spread out all the stories now, this is personal stuff, but I want you to know that I’m alive and I’m fully aware of the mess I have created in the last months. I will sort this out somehow.
A rehab is planned and I will be away for a few weeks again, but at the moment I don’t know exactly when and for how long. I will definitely update the sticky on the main page if new information is available.
But now to the long awaited release of the clip, which Chiara and I have filmed at the end of August.
It was a hot summer day, we didn’t expect too many girls with socks in shoes as most of the girls wore sandals or Birkenstock’s. But as ever, we found enough girls to create this short movie.
Fun fact, I have never learned French in school, but this time I wished I had, because there were so many French speaking girls on holidays in Cologne. And you know the prejudice of French people speaking English

Anyway, in the end we got 6 pairs of sweaty and dirty socks, plus the 7th pair from Chiara after walking kilometers in the sun. I have sent the package to a lucky fan of this site and everyone was happy in that moment.
Get the 21 minutes clip if you like. Although it is winter now, I feel the summer vibe I had during filming. It makes me smile and gives back a little bit of this happiness. Summer moved on
